NTLG GST Subcommittee
A Taxpayers Australia representative attended a scheduled meeting of the NTLG GST Subcommittee on 17 March 2010.  Agenda items discussed included:
  • Update on the Board of Taxation review of the legal framework for the administration of the GST system
  • Arrangements in relation to financial supplies covered by Taxpayer Alert 2010/1
  • Possible revision of GSTR 2000/20 in relation to commercial residential premises, and
  • Issues involving the margin scheme.
