NTLG - FBT sub-committee

Taxpayers Australia represented its members at the NTLG- FBT sub-committee meeting on 13 May 2010 in Melbourne.  The salient matters which were discussed in the meeting, including:

• Draft Taxation Determination TD 2010/D1: withholding for non-resident employers and FBT in respect of Australian resident employees working overseas (s23AG);
• Section 23AG- Employers Frequently Asked Questions- a fact sheet of frequently asked questions targeted at employees which will be issued shortly; and
• Other s23AG consequential issues.
